Holy Smokes! What a good story. Longmire has steadily grown on me since I read The Cold Dish a while back. The humour and mystery stirred together make this series simply “unputdownable”!

Another good mystery, quickly read - good character changes that made sense in the story.

Junkyard Dogs is a fantastic book and my favorite thus far in a really well written series. This book takes off immmediately with a comical story telling episode that paints a quick portrait of several characters. Johnson is wonderful at creating witty internal and spoken dialogue and memorable characters who are so very likeable. Recommended reading if you like mysteries and clever writing.

It wasn't his best book in the series.
