Looking for a captivating book with sparing, rhyming text? Check out HOUND WON'T GO, which is perfect for bedtime reading. The few words on each page carry great impact. This book is both funny and --especially by the end-- touching.
The bright illustrations are perfect at capturing the expression of the goofy hound, and the illustrator also did a great job showing the changes in weather that occur over the course of this book.
Verdict: can't wait to read this to my 2 year old. He's going to love it.

This has the same rhythm and structure as Sheep in a Jeep - like, exactly - and I'm not sure whether I'm cool with that or not.
