Seeing so many terrible reviews breaks my heart. I absolutely love this book. Is it all smut? YES. Is it well-written (smut)? YES. Is there plot?...yes. And I actually liked the plot a lot.

DNF at page 130, this book is purely smut but in my opinion not really well done. The sex scenes are overly excessive. They start on page 3, before we even really know the characters or setting. I'm over 100 pages in and don't even know what the main protagonist looks like. If you want smut every 5 pages with barely any plot this book is for you.

Consent? This book hasn't heard of it. It hasn't heard of plot either, this is just almost entirely smut. That's not necessarily a bad thing if that's what you're looking for, but I wasn't aware heading into the book so page 5 or 6 being smutty was definitely surprising. The smut isn't bad (although it is absolutely wild), but it is literally every page. There is only a semblance of plot once you get to part 3, but even then calling it plot is a stretch. Also, we get that they have a "long and complicated history". "Later I'll think about..." and the constant questions Mina was asking herself did get on my nerves. I understand that these were originally sold as separate books, but I do not need a summary of what happened on the last page. This is a glorified Wattpad fan fiction without an actual fandom to be based on, but if that floats your boat no judgment, go for it.
