An overall average but cute addition to the Finlay Donovan series; it was nice to get a bit more detail into Vero's backstory!

I loved this short novella! We got to see so much of Vero's past and it felt like the perfect prequel to the rest of the series. Highly recommend listening to the audiobook.

What happened to Vero before she met Finlay? And how did she mean Finlay? Well, this novella will tell you!
I enjoyed this little intro to Vero! I was glad to get more of her backstory and it makes me less suspicious of her as well as making her more likeable and relatable.
It had all the humor of the book; I just wish it had some spice!

This was a cute addition to the Finlay Donovan series. While it is technically a prequel, I wouldn't recommend reading it before the other books in the series. And if you choose not to read it, it won't affect your understanding of the series.
I enjoyed learning a bit about Vero's backstory and how she came to be Finlay's nanny.
