Wirr’s chapters I do not care, but man did he stick the landing. I feel bad for
Caeden, Elliavia, and Ishelle
. Cool story.
The end with Caeden transforming into Davian, saving Davian, and his little conclusion with Elli was such a great payoff. Really happy for Ash and Davian to get to spend time together beyond expectations too.

Absolutely phenomenal conclusion to the series.

My favorite book in the series. I'm genuinely impressed by the creativity and execution of this book. Sometimes the pacing is a little less intense, but I was always engaged and eager to continue.

Often authors have a hard time ending a great series, but not in this case. I don't know if I've ever read a book where the epilogue was my favorite part of the entire book. The story was over, but it didn't really come to a full circle until the very end, with many questions from this book or all the way back to the very beginning finally answered. The ending was so well thought out. Well done, Mr. Islington, I look forward to more.

The ending of this was so good, the epilogue was perfect and it surprised me so much. But the most of the book was a bit too boring and slow. There were too many slower plot points happening and none of them were super exciting. And then a lot also happened off page with certain characters which would be frustrating, especially when we did not get much explanation as to how those characters had gotten to a certain point.  It seemed that this should have been split up into 4 books in order to have the most impact and in order for it to feel more fleshed out. It was overall a good ending and it was satisfying but I wanted a bit more from it overall. I still would recommend this series as it was so interesting and the ending was so good but I would caution that it has a lot of slow moments.
