It was a fine story. Tugged at my heart strings a bit. Didn’t love the male MC. He was a douche who truly had zero redeeming qualities. He only had temperamental kindness for 2 characters and it wasn’t enough to endear him to me.

🪶 First person dual POV
🪶 Opposites attract
🪶 Stuck up suit / Carefree columnist’s assistant
🪶 First impressions are everything and Graham’s left Soraya intrigued, but believing him to be stuck up and rude. After finding his phone in the train and attempting to return it — only to be barred from even seeing him — Soraya’s first impression of Graham was proven correct. So she left him some photos on his returned phone to show him what he was missing out on…
🪶 Insta-chemistry
🪶 Fate
🪶 He falls first, HARD
🪶 Minor OW drama :/
🪶 Some established friends/family —MMC’s grandmother disappears half way through the book & he has no one else in his life…
🪶 MC growth: Trust issues (past relationship/childhood trauma), risking a relationship, communication, priorities, changing dynamics.
🪶 Epilogue

⚠️ Parental abandonment (past), infidelity (past relationship, not MCs), death of a parent (past, secondary character on present), cancer.

Enjoyed the family dynamics. The second epilogue made me happy and felt real.
