Finn and Aoife are a good start to this series. It’s a good introduction to the Five Points mob.

This is very much an insta love romance with the heavy misogyny that is prevalent in mafia/dark romance books.

I loved this book, it drew me in from the first page. The chemistry between Aoife and Finn is palpable and the sex scenes are HOT!

This book is a brilliant introduction to the Five Points mob and I’m already moving on to the next book in the series.

This book did not pull any punches. Anything that could go wrong, did. But throughout it all, these characters LOVED each other and really, what more could you want?

3.5 STARS !!!! i loved finn and aiofe so much, the development of aiofe was just amazing. not many books can make me cry but honestly this one did. my heart broke when finn learned the truth about aiofe’s mother’s death. i think the only thing that stopped me from giving it a higher rating is aiofe not finding out the truth. i understand finn being in a hard place but like this is about aiofe’s mother and i feel like if she ever found out then she’d feel sick to her stomach that lena was a mother figure to her etc. it felt like he was choosing his family over her im not gonna lie.

This one is hard to get through and I just couldn’t. There was to much inner monologue and I didn’t care for it. The main characters weren’t very likable and I was more interested in the side characters and we haven’t heard much about them at this point. The hero was all right but the heroine pissed me off. She had no self esteem and was like a doormat. This also felt very insta love like and that is one of tropes I dislike the most. This book felt way to long and I don’t know if I should try the other books or drop the series completely. For now, I need a break.
