An interesting addition to The Passenger, gives a perspective on Alice's life and how she viewed bobby as a person. Would note that, like The Passenger with physics, there is an even larger amount of Maths philosophy in the book. As I am not a mathematician I found it hard to follow. It is very philosophical book as a whole and does give different perspective on mental health as a whole. My final point would be in an ideal world you would read The Passenger first, Stella Maris second and then The Passenger again to give best insight into the emotions that Bobby felt through the novel.

Pretty fantastic. There are some dense conversations about mathematics or philosophy that can be hard to follow but overall it’s a great conversation that is actually way funnier than people give it credit for.

I’m not sure I’d have enjoyed this book if I’d read it off the page— there are a lot of parts that are completely academic and seemingly disconnected from the plot??? But Julia Whelan and Edoardo Ballerini are the best narrators and made the audiobook very dynamic.
