A exciting and fantastic finale to the US Marshals series! Really liked the twists, turns and surprises in this novel. They definitely kept me guessing. This story has a lot of moving pieces and it was fun trying to put them together. The ending was super good and spot on for the series. Great read!

I picked up this book because of the genre, I've heard good things about the author, and, hello, U.S. Marshalls? It took me a chapter to realize I had a lot of catching up to do on the main character's story. If you've read the other 2 in this series, The Catch will be a satisfying conclusion that braids multiple mysteries to pull Madison and Jonas to the breaking point--and not necessarily together. But if this is the first you've read in the series you may feel like you're sitting down in the middle of a movie. While some book series can be enjoyed in any order, this series really needs to be read starting with book 1 or you miss a lot of the context.

A woman and her baby are on the run after the death of the wife of the woman's lover (the first chapter is excellent in establishing this woman's character and sympathies). Madison and Jonas need to find her before someone else does--someone who isn't as interested in if this woman stays alive.

For those who enjoy books heavy on suspense and light on the romance, Lisa Harris is a good choice. Her series also has a less common element of keeping the same main character throughout, which gives time to see some beautiful character arcs and relationship building.

I just love these suspense novels that Revell publishes. Lisa Harris does it again, in the third US Marshalls book. An attempt of murder on a judge's life, his wife is murdered and they have a missing woman and baby that may or may not be connected to all of this. This one had a lot of storylines but it just flowed and everything all weaved together in the end.

US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn are put on this case and things only seem to get stranger and stranger as they try to unravel the pieces and characters. Just when they think they have a lead, another shooting or situation arises that they have to respond to and it does not take long for them to become target as well. Jonas and Madison need to keep focused on the case without letting feelings or the past interfere until the time is right.

This was a great fast paced thriller that started hot from page one and did not end until the very last page. I love how the author weaves past storylines and characters into the novels but also makes them readable as a standalone. This novel had lots of twists, and the author did a great job at bringing it all together and connecting all the dots as it all untangled.
