Slow start building to a hum-dinger of an ending. Lizzie Snow moves to Maine from Boston to search for her missing niece, who might have been seen in the area. She is a sheriff's deputy in Bearkill. When a teenager goes missing, Lizzie is caught up in a crime going back decades. Searching for the missing teen brings to light connections between four different women, all of whom were victims of a brutal serial rapist and kidnapper, Henry Gemerle, the butcher of Michener Street.
