Oh my goodness. Queen of the Broken had me up late, flipping pages, and at the edge of my seat throughout the whole book.

We continue following our FMC through her self-discovery journey after the heart-wrenching cliffhanger of book 1. She continues learning who she truly is, who her friends are, and what strengths she possesses. We see developments and depth in her friendships that were introduced in book 1. The banter between our leading lady and her love interest was perfection, leaving me laughing and desperately wanting to see what happens next. I love a good enemies to lovers romance with a morally grey mc.. swoon

Fun, flirty and heartfelt.

After Heart of the Marked, I really was expecting one thing to happen (iykyk), so I was right there with her during her grief and healing journey. However, I felt like Selene truly shined in her vengeance and thirst for justice, and it’s is so fascinating to read about (albeit heartbreaking all the same).

As for my Lord of Nightmares, I can read Emrys read a bottle of freaking shampoo and I would eat it up! And despite these two lovely souls making me tear up, I really think they are such a great team, their flirtiness is everything!

Also, everyone needs a friend like Minka, girl is just a pocket of sunshine with a side of snark that is just so so perfect! Her and Ric were cracking me up.

Overall such a fun read! Big thanks to Lyra for sending me an Arc. Cannot wait to see what these two bloody thirsty crazies get up to in Blood of the Divine! I’m ready for the chaos!

Wow. Just wow. The first book was my favorite read of 2022, and now this has the top spot for 2023.

We get more world building and looks inside how magic works here. The slow burn hits all the right spots and when it gets going, it gets hot. Can we say

The second installment in the Moon of Divine series was even better than the first! It won’t disappoint!

The way Lyra Asher handles Selene’s grief and trauma is so real and raw and emotional. But the found family aspect with her, Emrys, Ric & Minka (and eventually CORDELIA AHHH) was done so well and helped our FMC come in to her power and new self.

I have to say though, my favorite chapters were the god’s Haco. They were few and far between, but it was such an interesting look into that side of things especially as they’re freeing themselves and their children.

That ending though…I know I’m not emotionally ready for where book 3 is going to start.

man, Lyra has done it again. i couldn’t get enough of HOTM and this was no different. i told myself i was only going to read a few pages at a time to really savor it but that just wasn’t possible. each turn of the page only left me wanting more therefore i read 250 pages in one sitting. if you haven’t grabbed this series and devoured it yet, you really should.
