This is a thrilling book about DI Henley and herself efforts to stop a killer. The killings are related to an old case but the murderer in that case in in jail. She has to figure out how these killings are related and stop before more people are hurt. The book is set in London and uses English slang but it is easy to follow.

I loved the pace of the book. It kept me hooked from the very beginning and several twists had me rethinking what I thought I had figured out. I don't want to ruin the ending but I did not see it coming. If you enjoy criminal thrillers, you will love this book.

A near perfect thriller! This has everything I love in a thriller - it’s gruesome and fast-paced, with great characters. I’ll be anxiously awaiting the sequel.

Enjoyed this thoroughly. Hits the spot for a detective procedural mystery.

I enjoyed the story. Even though it was on the longer side, it was easy to read and fast-paced. It let my interest throughout. I liked that it focused on a female as the lead. I didn’t care for the storyline of her not being able to handle her work/home life balance. There was another aspect to her personal life that I didn’t care for since that seemed very clichéd also.

I would recommend this book to other readers who like police procedurals.

This was a good detective & serial killer book. Started off a little slow for me but once it picked up I didn’t wanna put it down. I read it not expecting to wanna read the whole series but now I wanna see how Detective Henleys life and next case turns out!
