Meh. Not nearly as good as the first 3 in the series.

This book is based on a fictionalized version of Big Brother, a reality television show that I have never watched a full season of (I may have seen an episode or two). I am aware of the premise, but this show does not appeal to me in the way that Survivor, The Amazing Race, and So You Think You Can Dance do. I think in part due to that, I was not as in to this book from the start (as compared with the others in this series). Additionally, I find the name Brodie annoying. I automatically picture the guy from Mallrats and I do not think that is what he was supposed to look like. I do not think he ever redeemed himself from the previous book's plot. It did help that the heroine was well aware of his personality and distrusted him every step of the way.

Still and all, it was an entertaining, fast read, with some payoff and a pretty awesome twist that I only saw coming from a leetle ways away.

This series is like candy reading to me. I will continue with it until I finish! :)

I enjoyed Kandis and Brodie's story. I loved how Kandis wasn't afraid to play dirty to make her way to top. I wasn't a huge fan of Brodie since reading him in PLAYING GAMES, but I got to see his good side in this book. It was well written and I liked the game.
SpoilerI loved the bathroom sex, it was such an erotic scene and it had me all tingly ;)

This was Brodie and Kandis story and they just seem like the type to make out in between waiting in line for carnival rides. It was alright. Just a lot going on imo. With the contestants staying in the “haunted house” with the game being a more Fear Factor approach but spice level was a bit Jersey Shore.

More from my guilty pleasure--The Games Series.

I love the reality TV aspect of these books, it automatically ratchets up the drama, when your on TV and the executives behind the show want to add "to the fire" so to speak. It makes for a very interesting read. This book is a take on that show with the word brother in it.

I, like many other reviewers have said; did not like Brodie from Playing Games, either. Which is where we first meet him. But he slowly became more and more charming as the book went on. Kandis is super cute and a little on the sneaky side, which doesn't help her make any friends in the game. Good thing she has Brodie on her side, or does she?

This book was a little longer than the previous ones at 225 pages, I liked that it was longer. And, it was still a pretty quick read. There is more scorching hot sexual tension and sex scenes in this book too. This book may have had the best ones yet

I was pretty nervous going into this one because I HATED Brodie in Playing Games. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised! Brodie and Kandis were very likeable and they had some great steamy scenes. Another winner by my favorite new adult writer!
