Parker is kinda terrible. While I did like the writing since I read it in one sitting, there was a million and ten things that could have been done... besides you know, being a horrible person.
And there were some misunderstandings that could have been solved with a simple conversation.
I think I'll continue this series, but not really sure what to expect.

Holly knows how to write the *best* spice out there, people. At least I think so. I originally fell in love with her Kingdom of Stars & Shadows series, but wanted to branch out and try a modern-day spicy read from her so a friend and I decided to buddy read the first book in her Good Girls series. And whew, it was fantastic.
Parker & Liv đ€ These two and their whole little love story was so sweet to read! I loved this second chance, brother's best friend romance so much đ„č Appreciate how they worked through miscommunications well once things were aired out between them. They just knew each other so well and that made me fall for them more.
Can't wait to read the next book in the Good Girls series!

Olivia (Liv) fell for Parker, her brothers best friend 4 years ago, and then he broke her heart and she ran away to Georgia. 4 years later shes at work, when her she runs into her brother⊠and Parker. And they force her to go back home to Tennessee. But now Parker is engaged and set to get married soon, but can he keep the feelings for Liv that he never lost at bay or will he break a heart again to get what he wants?
Parker is a HOT ASS man. Heâs a tattoo artist who is simultaneously a badass. Well used to be before his fiancĂ© Emily came into the picture. But when he sees Liv again while at his bachelor party, he canât help but let the rush of feelings for her come flooding back and before he knew it he was falling for her again. And let me tell you, the whole âI canât have you so nobody canâ thing, never used to be hot to me. Until Parker entered the picture.
Liv definitely fit my expectations throughout the novel. She didnât want Parker to break another heart so she kept her distance. But that doesnât work too well for her. I love how we got a dual perspective (or maybe even a quad perspective if you count the flashbacks) and we got to see how they both went through the process of falling in love and breaking apart. It was heart wrenching, but it built a love for both characters. I loved the smut in the end, it was hot. Livâs âfuck me like you hate meâ was SO FUCKING HOT, I might have to use it đ đ but seriously the smut was well written and definitely did what it needed to.

Iâll be honest, I skimmed through most of this book. I found it cringey and annoying and while the initial concept intrigued me, that was gone by chapter 2. Nothing about this book feels natural and the characters have barely any personality. I persevered with this book because I donât mind Hollyâs fantasy series but I think Iâll give this series a miss.

Although I didnât like it, I found it to be a little too short for what is a trauma that ensued.
This was also the first book Iâve read, where are the H is cheating to get with the h and his significant other doesnât know.
