This book! This book was an absolute rollercoaster! I can’t give much of a synopsis as this is a second book and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who wants to read this series in the future, which I highly recommend you do! In The Gilded cage we are introduced to new characters and my absolute favourite of them in Prince Caldon. As soon as I met him I fell in love. He is flirty and funny but he is also a protector, a soldier… and a tortured soul.
We also meet Kiva’s brother and sister… her brother Torell is the sweetest and I never liked her sister as soon as she was introduced, she just rubbed me the wrong way. We get more on what has been going on with her siblings while she has been trapped in prison. So much!
Honestly I adored this book. It was fast paced and it kept me hooked from start to finish… and every scene Cal was in was simply perfect! He had some of the best lines if you ask me XD and the fact that he called Kiva Sweet Cheeks made me giggle.
