Totally entertaining, with a giant big dose of empathy.

A largely forgettable book, the opening of a series, with a strange premise and a fairly dull execution, which seems to be evaporating from my memory very quickly, that could be old age or the fact that the story never really grabbed my attention.

A totally FUN book. If you want to just get kids reading, place this in their hands. Loved it.

Funny! I think it's great upper elementary book with potential for sixth graders. A babysitter for aliens? Come on, it's too cute. Plus the human characters are quirky and inventive. There's a definite emphasis on creative thinking and learning through doing. Plus there's a lot of tongue in cheek humor with plenty of throwback references to things my parents found funny. Who's on first, anyone? This one's a keeper.
