We finally get to see where the feud between the Wilcox and McAllister Clans began! Set in New York City in the 1800's this was a really atmospheric, character led plot. No modern day tech or scenery to distract just a very emotional love story..with a little bit of magic!
Central Park, The Carousel and Macy's pretty much become characters themselves in the story and I loved it. I've never been to the US at all but I felt right at home here. I would definitely read this series in order, otherwise you will spoil your enjoyment of the story as it unfolds.
