I've always been a fan of Black Widow in the MCU so now that I'm making my way into comics I decided to try this out. Despite knowing her "happy ever after" wouldn't last, I won't lie and say it didn't hurt to see Natasha have to let it go. Despite that, I enjoyed everything about this from the action to the dialogue. Not to mention the art in this was incredible. I have already picked up the other volumes that I'm aware of and I'll be reading them ASAP.

I'd enjoyed Thompson's run on Hawkeye so I thought I'd give this a try and enjoyed it. The plot is a bit far-fetched, but within the bounds of comic book believability. The art and action scenes were well done and the dialogue was fun.

i've loved a lot of kelly thompson's but this is probably the best. i maybe teared up a little bit this is the best black widow story ever. so cruel what they did to nat but this is so good hhgjhf took at least the second issue to get into the art tho but i liked it too.. as a full time widow warrior and buckynat loyalist oh my god this really hit hard

The overall premise of the story feels a bit weird to me, but Thompson continues to show herself as a strong writer and Casagrande's art is excellent all the way through. Add in Hawkeye and Bucky sitting in the bushes for a stakeout, and an excitingly well-delivered climax, and there are definitely plenty of things to enjoy in this new Black Widow adventure.

I was so unsure about this book for the first 5-6 pages but The art work and writing just sucked me in and my god it was great ! This is my first black widow comic I’ve read and I loved it
