These books made my childhood. I spent so many of childhood days reading them, swapping them with the other girls at school, and collecting more and more. I'll definitely be passing my collection on to my future children.

After reading this book, I'm forced to conclude climate change isn't real. There's a rooster named Doodle in Fairyland who controls the weather. Doodle has a feather to represent each type of weather, so every morning he picks one out and gives it to the correct fairy who will ensure that whatever type of weather Doodle has selected happens.
Really we're all just at the whims of a rooster named Doodle and a bunch of fairies. Sorry to break this to you guys through a GoodReads review.

A fun series as a child, however I grew out of them very quickly, and don't look back on them as my cup of tea as a child either, I was just excited to be able to read independently! Nevertheless, they are great for young kids, and my Mum read them with me to help me learn how to read.
