Heç ağlımda yox ikən başladım seriyaya. İlk cild üçün yetəri qədər maraq yaratdı. Davam edəcəm.

This exceeded my expectations. I loved every image, every word, every sentence. I had already read The Sound of Her Wings and it still made me cry. Death was already a favourite of mine but Dream/Morpheus already made his way into my heart. He has such a soothing demeanour to him that made him an instant favourite.
My only regret is not reading this sooner but better late than never.
Now, onto the second!

The quest for eternal life has been attempted in many tales, and almost always is fraught with terrible consequences for the characters involved. Of course, that which is worth having doesn't come easily...or so they say. This has been around for quite a while, and yet, I loved this GN. The illustrations were phenomenal, the story/dialogue were quick and catchy, and the plot/flow was fantastic.

Dream is the younger brother to Death, and is captured by an occult group who were attempting to snag her instead to barter for eternal life. However, they get the brother and he's ticked when his objects of power are taken, and he's subsequently imprisoned for 70 years. But then, a guard makes the mistake of falling asleep on duty which gives Dream all he needs to work out a way to escape.

From here the story follows Dream as he searches for his objects of power to make him stronger. Madmen, Lucifer himself, and Constantine all make appearances in this tale of Preludes and Nocturnes.

Phenomenal work. The very introduction to the craziest of all DC' worlds. Gaiman is a truly gifted writer who should be perceived as The Chosen One of the contemporary fantasy.

Sick comics!
