It was a pleasant read, a typical Hercules Poirot story.

Unexpected humor in this amusing scenario. The intrepid & brilliant Poirot is afraid of the dentist. Not the murder that happened, but the dentist.

Gripping in its way, but certainly not a Christie finest. The characters, particularly the culprit, feel a bit thin and forced. Never love the political slant when it happens either.

Wasn’t my FAVORITE by Agatha Christie, but still an interesting read and intriguingly confusing as always. She’ll always be among the greats to me.

Not as enjoyable as other Poirot novels due to the confusing plot.
