Easily one of my all time favorite books. I genuinely could not put this one down. I couldn’t stop thinking about this book, desperate to get back to it any moment I couldn’t read. I can’t believe I let this sit on my shelf for so long. As soon as I finished it I gave my paperback to a friend and bought myself a hardcover to keep on my shelf. I also bought the hardcover of Mary Kubica’s most recent release “Just The Nicest Couple” and I cannot wait to start reading it.

Conflicted feeling; the writing was atmospheric and the plot/ pace was well done, my only gripe was not caring much about the characters this was happening to, I predict this was due to there being quite a few characters stories told simultaneously so I could never quite get a grip on just one. But for the pacing and plot this worked very well.

Was enjoyable, wish some things were explored more rather than quickly wrapped up at the end.

Two women and a child go missing only days apart in the same neighborhood. Were they murdered, abducted, or did they simply just leave?

Two of their neighbors, Bea and Kate, turn into amateur sleuths to help figure out what happened.

There are a lot of characters, and the story is told from multiple perspectives that time-hop. It can be a little difficult to keep up with. There are several twists and almost everything was *just* plausible to be believable.

I'd recommend Confessions on the 7:45 by Lisa Unger if you like this book.
