This book is towards the end of the series but I cold follow along without being confused about what happened in the rest of the series.
I enjoyed the story and concept as a whole but the writing is for younger kids so I didn't love it. I also kept on thinking how sad it was that there was a whole family of ghosts including younger kids. As an adult, I can't help think about how they died.
The cover is what made me want to read The Ghosts at the Movie Theater. It has a Wayward Pines look to it. The illustrator has worked on some TV shows so it is a possibility she has that style for a reason.
