While I enjoyed the story and getting to know the characters, what bothered me about this book was the very simple first person writing style (that including ALL of the characters thoughts and almost no description), and the fact that it was full of college/new adult cliches! I went into the book blind, based off the title and cover, and Lilly James is new to me as an author.
I really enjoyed getting to know Louisa and Hunter - but good girl, falls for and loses her virginity to bad boy... it's just been done so many times and I wanted more from this story. I wanted there to be a deeper level to it, and I never really got it. That being said, the story had heart - it was a good idea and I feel like with some good beta readers, this book could have been way better! It was very entertaining, sexy, and had some funny parts! I really liked Jaxon and Dexter! (:
