The writing wasn't great, a lot of gratuitous cursing, errors and inconsistencies - could have used another round of proofreading/editing.

Also just struggled with the characters and the second-chance aspect of the story. Not sure if there's ever a good enough reason to leave someone you love without contact or communication for 5 years and then just hope they'll allow you back into their life and not be upset with you. 🤔

I loved Cash & Stone. These two were so hot together. Super strong chemistry and an undeniable connection. They went through a lot, but it was clear they were meant for one another and belonged together I love this world, and it was so great to see familiar faces! So glad I discovered Ashley James this year! Can't wait to read more from her!

what an amazingly beautiful second chance story about two people who had such a whirlwind romance then situations happened that had them apart. i loved everything about this book, cash and stone. i was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t put it down. ashley has such a way with words and making you feel some type of way.

cash meets stone while he’s still in college, as stone’s teacher aide. sparks are flying, connections are happening until something tears stone away from cash for 5 years. they come crashing back into each others lives when cash gets a teaching job fresh out of college. i was pissed at stone at first for what he did for cash then i was understanding but still pissed then i loved him. i went through so many emotions during this book.
