Bully romance is an understatement!
I love the premise of this book and the plot begs to be read but at times the bullying was beyond intense. There were a couple times I was struggling to keep going, especially because of the intense relentless bullying, but the tidbit of spicyness near the end is hopefully a preview of what’s to come in the next book and thankfully by the end I was hooked and had to keep reading to find out what’s going to happen with Tory and Darcy!!
I love the world that the authors have created and the book is ripe with delicious scenery and descriptions of this amazing academy and world they’ve created. I do have to say there were instances where I definitely felt that some of the interactions were much more high school than college but then again I think the same kind of “mean girl” incidents probably still happen in college especially when the popular girls get challenged!! Definitely glad I stuck with it and can’t wait to delve into book #2!
