This got me at the end. Immediately after finishing I went back and reread the first chapter again, and it was transcendent to see the significance of what I had missed on first read. A perfect use of the novella form, a structural marvel. I look forward to reading more in this series.

This is one of the few books I've fully listened to without having had a physical copy to read over. I think because of that I found it harder to follow. Still, the story was intriguing and well written and having listened to it on audiobook it felt like I was also the cleric getting to hear the stories from Rabbit herself. I'd enjoy it as a longer novel.
