Read in one day! Neck hurts but it was worth it. Wasn’t the best book I’ve read in terms of actual quality but I very much enjoyed reading it. A good trashy novel for the beginning of the holidays before I move on to more serious stuff.

I guess I'm getting too old for this.

this was so fun. i flew through it, though there was a bit too much going on, and it ran a little long. the multiple perspectives got confusing at times, but i appreciate that they were able to give us (the audience) a look at each relationship. i was pleasantly surprised by the relationships! also, simon and baz's story arc, their discussions throughout the book often felt like therapy sessions, which is not a criticism. it was almost healing to read. again, very very fun.

“I’ve wanted this…since I’ve known how to want.”

This is by far the weakest book of the three.

It feels like another 100+ pages are missing. So many things are left unresolved. It feels like very little of consequence actually happened in this story. I genuinely can’t believe Simon didn’t get his magic back, I’m honestly baffled. And the events of Wayward Son having no impact on the plot??

I liked a lot of aspects of this book but I’m feeling rather let down.

The way this book quietly calls back to the other two books has me cracking up and also crying. What a perfect conclusion.
