Another absolutely gorgeous and addictive read that I haven’t wanted to put down. I have been completely gripped from the very beginning.
This is another extremely well-written and fast paced read which literally pulls you in. The author is great at painting the scene so clearly you feel as though you are right there.
Latshaw has kept me hooked with this book, my imagination has been completely captured and this book is equally as fantastic as book one. I cannot say anything negative about this book. It is a great read which has been addictive and gripping.

Once again I was blown away by the fascinating world which Latshaw has created within this series! In this book we jump between the present day and around 300 years in the past, the time in which the world as we know it ended!

I found the parts set in the past to be really interesting as it created a more fleshed out history, as well as shining a light on why there were certain customs and traditions now in place. It also allowed for the fleshing out of characters which had previously been mentioned in book 1.

Although I really enjoyed this book I did have a few issues. The first being that the books jumps around a lot between past and presents and as well as between perspectives in these time periods. I would have preferred to spend a bit more time in each before switching. Also I found that some of the storylines didn’t really lead anywhere and almost seemed forgotten

Now possibly my favourite part of this book was a new location which was introduced, Apex! I don’t want to spoil anything so all I’ll say is the events that take place there I found to be truly fascinating! Also one new character is this book also quickly became a favourite! That character being Dronmer, and I won’t say anymore so that I don’t spoil anything!

So if you like books with interesting worlds, with their own history and cultures then I highly recommend trying out the Brathius Legacy books.
