I was really excited to read this book after getting a teaser from An Indecent Proposal #3 book and wow I really loved the chemistry with Jude and Sloan, I mean intense heat. Our favorite O'Malley characters are back with some dark ones too. This series just keeps getting better with each book, can't wait to read Aiden story in the next installment.

I admit I had never read the previous books but not I want to because I enjoyed this book so much.

This book is well written and I just loved the chemistry between Jude and Sloan.

This is book 4 in the O'Malleys series that Robert is re-releasing.

I didn't find it as good as the previous books but it did keep the story going and lead up to the last 2.

In this book, Sloan O'Malley has left the family with Teague's help and is on her own in OR.  She meets her neighbor who happens to have lost his entire family to Calista's father and has been trying to get back at him for his whole life.

Jude McNamara has been trying to get revenge for Colm Sheridan having killed his whole family, except his mother who was pregnant with him when it happened.  I thought we were going to hear his back story, which was eluded to but never explained (why the McNamaras were not as perfect as he was led to believe, and maybe their entire family deserved to be killed?!)

Anyway, they get together, they all figure out who is who.  Dmitri Romanov comes back into play, leading into Kira's book where she'll clearly end up with him.  Jude and Sloan are gone (ugh, his back story will never be told - I need to lower my rating for this book), and having a baby.

It's worth reading to get through the series and keep up with the characters but Sloan clearly was a throwaway character that barely got a book.

When I put this book on hold and had to wait for a month, it was because I had forgotten what the series is about. I have realized that I'm not a fan of "my family is the leader of the criminal underground and now I have the hots for an enemy."

So, not my thing.

Timing in this one felt weird, but still enjoyed a ton.
