There's a fine line between "cozy" and "boring". If there's literally no conflict in the first 100 pages of a 300 pages book, to me that book is boring.

This book has less than 300 pages but it still took me 6 days to read it. And I finished 6 other books in that same time. So suffice to say this did not hold my attention. The writing was good, and it’s exactly what it’s billed as, “high fantasy, low stakes.” I just wasn’t entertained. It feels inaccurate to rate it poorly though, just because it wasn’t for me.
