Not much more can be written, I don't think, in way of review of these, as the quality seems to remain consistent throughout the series. There is great humor along the way, laced in the middle of tales of terror and fear, along with treachery and betrayal, as well. There is a bit of spice and romance included, as well, as Geralt of Rivia encounters a sorceress named Lytta Neyd (aka Coral) and her apprentice, Mozaik.
The main story in this book involves Geralt's Witcher swords being stolen and his efforts to reclaim them. As is common in many video games that I play, there is always a side quest that must be done in order to gain someone's favor so they will help you with the main quest.
Another wonderful Witcher tale, this one, well written and imagined. Oh, and apparently, I was supposed to read this one before some of the others? Because in the epilogue, there is mention of a princess that had been allegedly turned into a striga. And I've already read that story. It remains, in fact, one of my favorite tales in the saga.

Overall nice to round off the series, especially with that ambiguous epilogue and I did enjoy the unusual story structure of bouncing back and forth to interludes.

- "Damen i sjön" (del 5/avslutande)
