The Season Of Silver Linings is a story of enduring friendships old and new, loss, love and the meaning of family. Jada, Cat and Linnie, run the Wayfair Inn. Jada is not only the pastry chef but is also having to pick up the slack for Cat who is still in the midst of newly wedded bliss and Linnie, who just happens to be preparing for her own wedding. Jada, always the responsible one has her hands full, but unexpected things are about to happen for the always prepared Jada. Jada will have to relive some very painful memories and in the process she just might find out that everything is not her responsibility and may actually find happiness for herself.

Christine Nolfi has written a beautiful series that has you caring for all the people involved in the story and making you want to be part it. Wonderfully written and delightful to read.

I fell in love with this story from the very start. I highly recommend this series to all who love a heartwarming story with some twists and turns you never expect but have you cheering for all!

This is my favorite of the Sweet Lake books. I loved the first two, but this one is special. Many answered questions. A romance and a bit of suspense. Throw in the Sirens and you have the intrigue and magic.

This book will have you hooked from the start and you won’t want to put it down. It can be read as a stand along but should be read after the first two Sweet Lake books to understand each character. You will love the characters. All of them. They are so likable and realistic. A few things are explained in this book that will have you turning the pages to find out what and how. Who is who and why are they there. It’s a great read.

I wish there would be another book now. Jada and Philip.

Thank you to #Netgalley, #Lake Union and to Christine Nolfi. It’s a definite 5 star book. I loved it.

A warm and welcoming small town story with layer upon layer to uncover as the intriguing plot progressed, Christine Nolfi was at her best with The Season of Silver Linings.

Women’s fiction with a strong element of romance and even some mystery added in for good measure, this newest novel by Christine Nolfi was a complete page-turner for me. I just couldn’t get enough of Jada and Philip’s chemistry, their devastating backstory, the inquisitive professor poking around in Jada’s life, or catching up with happy-in-love couples Cat & Ryan and Linnie & Daniel. But don’t worry about whether you can read this as a standalone or not. Each of the three books in this series can be read on their own with no problem. Read More

Some heavy, some light, some laughs.

There are some very serious topics covered in this volume. The wonderful characters and their banter kept it light enough for me to enjoy. A good wrap up to the trilogy.

It was a pleasure going back to Sweet Lake and our friends at the Wayfair Inn. I have read the previous 2 books in the series, and I have to say that this one is my favorite. Ms. Nolfi did not disappoint with the story line, characters and writing in this book. She added drama and suspense, and a nice twist at the end. I loved that she added relevant issues, and made them non-issues (read the book to understand my comment).

I received an ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.
