A cheerful look at the color pink that answers the persistent question, but who is pink for, anyway? Focusing on professions and activities and preferences rather than stringent sex or gender limitations, the reader discovers many amazing places where the color pink can show up, and that the only person it's not for is the person who doesn't like it.

I appreciated the engaging illustrations that make an intentional effort to be widely inclusive. It's a fine line between simply ticking boxes and meaningfully including diversity, but in a book like this where there is no "main character" or "side characters" and the illustrations are doing the inclusive heavy lifting, it works.

Pink is for Everybody is a book full of inclusiveness. There’s not much of a story per say but I loved the illustrations & the way gender norms were handled. Super cute book for little ones in Kindergarten to learn about inclusiveness.

This was a short but sweet book about pink being for everyone! I thought it could have been a little more explicit in defying the gender stereotype that pink is only for girls, but if you're looking for something more subtle, this is a good option to start a conversation about gender norms.

This was a nice idea, but there were a few pages in which the illustrations had a bit too much going on in them to be easily connected to the text. I also think there's a lot of value in just...letting everyone wear pink in your stories, rather than writing a whole story about how pink is for everyone. Why talk about it when you can do it?

While there's not much plot to this book, there's plenty of diversity and stereotype-smashing!

Super cute book! For all the times colors have been force-associated with gender, for all the kids out there who mock a boy for wearing pink, or who force girls to wear pink when they don't want to, this book is for them. Great illustrations also.

Such a cute and wonderful book! I love the use of zany, kid-friendly, and engaging words like "ab-so-tootly" and "party-poopers." The book is a bit on the shorter side but its message is impactful all the same; Pink is for everybody, unless you don't like the color pink, which is perfectly okay! This is a must-have for young readers to help them learn that colors are for everybody, and it's perfect for educators and librarians for story time! I will definitely be purchasing this for my library, as I can see it being a big hit with my kids. In addition, the illustrations are BEAUTIFUL! They are very engaging, and they showcase a diverse group of kids all celebrating the color pink! Not to mention, the contrast between the gray tones and the bright washes of pink is very lovely. I could not recommend this book more!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This story embodies its title. It’s just a list of who all can like the color pink and who can’t. The illustrations of what really make the story you have as much diversity as can possibly be put in both by skin tones and abilities but it all works. I do wish with in this they would’ve said pink is for girls and pink is for boys and pinks is for these animals. But just saying pink is for pilots and pink it’s for tigers and pink it’s for cats and it does work. And it brings Aerosmith to mind because pink is my new favorite flavor.
