3.5 rounded up, probably. This chapbook runs on raw energy, absolutely opposed to reduction, fueled by biting irony. Posing a logician's symbols against the trans experience, invoking comedic stractures to frustrate laughter (most obvious in this performance of "Trans Joke: A Found Poem"), Greathouse does genuinely invoke an architectural approach just as Simon suggests. But it's the architecture of "The Tokyo Toilet Project" - conspicuous but never without privacy, constantly in tension with its assumed principles.
