I really like that this one doesn't work out as perfectly as the others. I like the addition of Daniel and Amber in this one and how it starts with a revisit of Spartan. I like how this one reflects on the year since Amy's mom passed. I didn't love the initial conflict in the beginning with the arrival of Storm and the conflict between Amy and Ty regarding Heartland vs. shows. Having read part of the series before I know it kind of sets things up for future books, but the drama between Amy and Ty doesn't seem as genuine as it could be.

Another quick read in this series, I found this book amusing and fun. While it did not end the way I had half-way expected it, I think I might be able to predict what might happen with Daniel and Storm, when Amy realizes there isn't enough hours in the day and has to decide between jumping and Heartland, and will chose Heartland and since Storm is a jumping horse, gee, who do we know who horse jumping and recently lost their beloved horse?
Overall, another interesting addition to this series. Now it's probably time for me to take a break from the kid's reads!
