Terra's still trying to adjust to her role as co-Alpha of the new Haven pack and determine her feelings when it comes to Wolfie. She knows she loves him, but can her feelings overcome the small shreds of doubt when it comes to the issue of their dominance to each other? She would do almost anything for him, but role over on her belly and relinquish complete control over her onto him is not one of those things. Will fear keep her from becoming one with her loving Bloodling?

The past few months have been quiet as the new Haven pack adjust to pack dynamics, and for the most part it's been great. Terra's adopted daughter has been a key factor in securing the unity of the Haven pack, but now Justin has decided to stir the waters of their peace and attempt to regain custody of his Bloodling daughter. The only way Terra can see around it is to hasten Ember's shifting abilities so that Ember may decide to stay on board with the Haven pack that is desperate to keep her. But will it work? And will Wolfie even allow for the process to take hold, or will he take the decision out of Terra's hands so that Ember may have a happy puppyhood?

It is time for Terra to step up and fully embrace her role as an alpha to the Haven pack; No more hiding behind Wolfie's more experienced ruling techniques. It is time for Terra to realize her full potential and that her dedication to her pack and family far outweighs the fears she has about being a leader. Her pack needs her now. It is time for the alpha to make herself known.

For the most part, this conclusion to the Wolf Rampant series tied up all the lose ends in regards to Terra and Wolfie's story. There were, however, some questions left open in regards to other key members in the story, though I have hopes that those will be answered in the spin-off series from Fen's POV. I believe we can expect to see more of Mr. Sassafras in her future. I'm content with how things ended for our courageous new Alpha Terra and the future she has before her.

Terra and Wolfie deserve a happy ending. They have fought hard and had to endure a lot of pain to get to a happy place. They still have battles ahead but together they can overcome any obstacle, they are a great alpha pair.

2 Not bad, not great. Wouldn't necessarily recommend this series but it served the purpose of occupying my mind for a few hours. Kinda been there, read that. This third book in particular felt disconnected to the plot. Things should have been resolved by now but were dragging and it seemed to only be so they could produce a third book.

The narration was perfect for this audible story letting me almost take part in the events and letting the words bring it to life. l found the book interesting, full of community, action and friendship although it was not all plain sailing for this bunch of wolf shifters.

This was a nice ending to Terra and Wolfie's story. As much as I enjoyed reading about them, I am interested in the new series with Alpha Fen. I'm seeing all sorts of ways the author can go with this storyline so it will be interesting to see where she goes with it.
