I was very intrigued while reading this, and I thought it was fascinating that it expressed the dangers of unfounded accusations.

Very much just a book of girls lying, and I love that.

Really poignant portrayal of teen girlhood. I think that it was a really important allegory for the time and written well. Wasn't super engaging but also might be because I read it for school. Fan of the prose.

I actually liked a book school made me read? Wild, I know. But despite the sexism and the raging historical inaccuracies, it was fun to read. Maybe it was made more enjoyable by the fact that I got to watch my classmates read it out loud in horror and shame. The best thing you can do is make a bunch of high schoolers read out the lines of a horned up 17th-century character lol.

This was the best book I have ever read in school. I love how I was actually interested in what was going on in the story. I would highly recommend as a book to read; especially in class.
