Really easy to read and gripping but the plot twist was a bit of a let down imo

This was soo good, the mystery and intrigue was *chef’s kiss* fantastic, and the character development (particularly of Cadence) was really well done.

I definitely hadn’t expected that ending or the twist but will say, if you’re prone to sobbing during books (like me) then definitely have some tissues handy cause it gets pretty emotional.

Reminded me of summer days at the beach with my own toxic cousins (Liars would def have been apt). It was a wonderful idea and could’ve been executed better. I hated the repetition and the writing style. The ending was quite rushed although it was definitely very tense and emotional. Would recommend for a quick read if you’re in a melancholy mood
