Marvel did such a great job with this long awaited return to a galaxy far, far away. I read the comic while imitating the character’s voices. It’s such an awesome paced introduction to our heroes newest adventure. The artwork is equally entertaining and very life like.

This was definitely a solidly fun read. It fulfilled my desire to spend more time with characters that I'm fond of, and I loved how the dialog was written spot on so that I could hear the characters' voices in my head.

That was everything I wanted it to be. Lots of fun, great pacing and I felt like I could hear the original cast saying the lines as I was reading them.

Now to try and wait patiently for the next issue and the first issue of the Vader and Leia series.

All the Star Wars!

The art style is gorgeous and captures the spirit of the original movies. The plot so far is alright, and I'm willing to see where it goes. The area that this comic is the weakest, though, is the dialogue. Some of the most cringe-inducing stuff since the Star Wars: Clone Wars movie. But, as terrible as some of the lines are, this comic does a great job of channeling the original trilogy. Hopefully they keep it up!
