I see why people prefer the graphic novel over the show. I love how Tyreese which I'm assuming is "T-Dog" on the show, actually has more of a story line and does more than just makes faces and carries wood. To me the graphic novel is more intense in story line. I really enjoyed this.

The Atlanta survivors find out that cold affects the zombies more since they blood is not warm, leaving them almost frozen in state, yet nobody says "Hey, let's go somewhere cold so the chances of getting bitten are minimal, since these thing can't even move in cold".
And this is suppoused to be "Miles Away" from the TV-Show? Not to mention both the comic and the TV-show drag a lot.

I'd hate to be one of those people who only talk about the differences between the TV series and original graphic novels.. So instead, the only thing that comes to mind is - this volume is a lot easier on the eyes, with all the grey tones bringing texture and some depths to the illustrations.
Character development feels rushed a bit, much like the situations they're in. I know it takes them weeks and sometimes even months to reach from one point to another, plot-wise, but it's not always obvious, so that feeling doesn't really go away. Also, I get confused with order in which the dialogue bubbles are supposed to be read in, but that's probably my lack of experience in reading comic books speaking.
