I think this is my favourite in the series, I definitely liked it more than Bad girl reputation. I loved Tate as h just was that mix of cocky and sweet that I love. I really liked Cassie to and she was a well rounded character. I liked the dynamic of the two and for the most part they did have good communication. I will say I am kind of over the awful parents that Elle Kennedy seems to love to include, especially when they effect the relationship. Overall, this was a really good romance and I am glad I picked it up.

I know that this book is objective not a 5 stars cause I will forget about everything probably right after I finish this review but right now it feels like a five stars. (It’s important to note that I read this on holiday)

I loved the friend group and the sailing aspect. The whole family aspect and the very complicated family situation(s) made the story more interesting
and the mfc’s conversation with her stepmom almost made me cry. I also loved that she went no contact with her mom.

I also didn’t mind the third act conflict
because they break up don’t make a big dramatic thing out of it. There is very little angst involved and the was a better reason than in most books if we are being honest.

Overall just a very summer feel good book about rich people and boats.

I loved this book! This may be my favorite of the series so far. I loved that the author made the main character curvy and not just the typical perfectly thin body type. I also related to the main character as I have a complicated relationship with my parents. I always wanted to be the care free girl who is not about feelings but it never does work out like that.
I was not expecting the mom to have had a relationship with Tate’s dad, that totally surprised me! I also felt like she was going to say that Cassie was the child from that affair and was ready to lose my mind. Luckily the author didn’t have this be the story plot and just said the baby was miscarried. I can’t fathom how a baby would have changed the dynamic for Cassie, Tate and everyone else involved. I also loved the ending of Tate and Cassie getting back together and planning what’s next. They just seemed too perfect for it to end any other way.
I’d love to see additional parts for this series that follows each couple in Avalon Bay so far.

LOVED CASSIE AND TATE SO MUCH!!!

This summer fling friends to lovers romance was seriously so much fun! I loved the summer vibes and the banter between Cassie and Tate. The friendships between the side characters were also so much fun. Cassie and Tate had a spark from the beginning and when Tate decides a friendship would be better, he impulsively offers to be Cassie's wingman for the summer. As things start heating up, Tate realizes that is not what they want at all and agrees to a summer fling with Cassie. Cassie is only here for the summer and is heading back to school afterward, so she wasn't looking for anything serious but her connection with Tate completely shocked her.

This book was so fun and easy to read! I was fully engaged the whole time and looking forward to where the characters would end up next. Their connection and ease together had me swooning! The drama was also giving! There were moments that truly had my jaw on the floor and I loved every minute of it.

Such a fun read and cannot wait for more in this small town.
