Jane Austen is a joy. I loved this book. Although I have to admit that one of the things I loved most was how I pictured a cute Hugh Grant each time Edward was mentioned. Time to pull out the DVD :)

Not my favourite Jane Austen but still very fun. This full cast audio production was an excellent way to listen. I wasn’t super sold on the relationships though, honestly none of the men seemed that great.

Colonel Brandon: the gentleman of most impeccable virtue, upon whose character a warm admiration may be justly bestowed. Edward: a most unfortunate calamity, whose misfortunes stir a tender sympathy. Willoughby: a scoundrel of the lowest order, unworthy of any esteem.
