I love this book. In fact I want this book to be read by all senior high students at some point in their schooling. Quick, we need the younger generation to embrace these concepts. Written a little like his speeches and organized by topics like taxes, minimum wage, immigration, he gives a call to action with specific things to do at the end of each chapter. Contains a glossary of economic terms. Read it!

Great approachable content for Bernie's political stance. If you're a Berner, then you're probably aware of many of these already, but that doesn't takeaway any credit to the content of this book. Short and sweet, filled with important information, made approachable for a wide audience.

Yeah okay I agree with basically everything. But how? This is the description of a utopia without any word for all the work needed to reach it.

In this book, Sanders lays out, for lack of a better term, his manifesto. He describes his position on all hot button issues from universal health care to immigration. Sanders points to the reasons he has come to his stance using research data and social interactions. Chapters are punctuated with infographics and ways that readers can participate in the real world.

I wish for a more balanced view, with more push and pull from varying sides...though this is Sanders's book so really he can take precedence. Some information is already outdated.

Oh, Bernie. I’d vote for you because you are kind and compassionate. And because you want to take the money out of politicians’ hands.

In terms of content, it was just what I expected, what I wanted. It’s like a 3-hour long speech or lecture except not given by Bernie but read by someone else.
