For this being so short, I was impressed with how it hooked me at the end! Damn, this was good! It took maybe a few pages to get invested and once the end came I felt like applauding at how well written and captivating this was. A duchess asks a tattoo artist for a tattoo, and she learns the true meaning of it. I can't say anything more than that without ruining the story. It's worth reading. So short yet so sweet. 5 ⭐!

I mean now I want to read the first book. So this one worked.

I had read this short story before - but not the extra material which accompanied it. The story is a short, but interesting, extra to My Last Duchess/The American Heiress and the extras on the real historical context are insightful too.

The Duchess's Tatto by Daisy Goodwin. My only complaint is that it's way too short. It's basically a teaser. The American Heiress sounds very interesting and I will probably read it someday.

This little slip of a story did nothing for my Downton Abbey withdrawal. Mostly the download was just ads for another Goodwin book. As for The Dutchess's Tattoo itself, it is a very short story, and not much happens.
