I have an addiction to reading the source material for musicals. Adding Machine was enjoyably absurd and very close to word-for-word in the musical, but I'm DNFing Green Grow the Lilacs--it is also close to word-for-word, but the characters are caricatures, Curly offends me, Laurey kind of does too, and the dialect drives me bananas.
