I had forgotten most of this, my main recollection was of Susan wandering the desert with the bloodcat, which is not accurate at all.
There are no more character arcs left for this one: Susan, Nick, and Jimmy had already learnt what they were going to from O. It feels more of the same, with a surprisingly bleak end for a children's book.
But it's well-written and I have strong residual nostalgia for the characters and the world.

Four stars because I finally almost worked out what the continent looks like.

I bought and read this book today for a test I have tomorrow. I enjoyed this book more than I did the first one. I don't think it was better written or that it had a more interesting storyline, I think I just I just chose to enjoy it because I had to read it in one day and didn't want it to be a completely dreary experience. this made me want to read more fantasy books.
