Plant Man (maybe the least frightening name in comics—although his design is much cooler nowadays) is a pretty silly villain, but I liked seeing Namor and Triton interact. Although, I can’t help but feel like the ‘Hero vs. Hero’ trope is going to get tired almost half a century prior to the Civil War! Hopefully, by then, their reasoning(s) will have improved beyond “Must be a robot imposter!,” and the ever-classic ‘Villain tricks heroes into fighting before they both stop and team up.’
I was never the biggest fan of Namor’s stories in ‘Tales to Astonish,’ but so far, I’m enjoying his solo mag!
