A delightful story with great read aloud potential about two siblings who go outside on a cold winter day in search of a yeti.

A bit like We're Going on a Lion Hunt, this includes the early literacy skills of Narrative Skills (telling the story and then going in reverse) and Vocabulary (perfect, shaggy, yowl, wooly, humongous). The repeated refrain of "no yeti yet" keeps preschoolers engaged with the text, and they could easily act out the story for the early literacy practice of Play.

CUTE story! With REALLY cute illustrations! Could be great for a classroom library, for a number of reasons. Living in the Pacific Northwest, yetis are definitely popular out here! I like that it touches on different qualities the yeti has- which could be good for teaching kids things to include in their own writing! Fun adventure story, and is definitely "current", with the "selfie" on that last page. Definitely recommend this one :)
