Worth the read!

Excellent. I didn’t know fantasy romance was a thing but I really loved this book series. Was it the perfect epic tale? No. But it took me through so many emotions. Gave me hard truths, and some winding staircases to a better world. It was so much fun to get lost in Caelena and Aelin’s journey to being the change. And the small bits of spice was lovely. On to ACOTAR.

"To whatever end"

“But just remember that this fear of yours? It means you have something worth fighting for – something you care so greatly for that losing it is the worst thing you can imagine.”

"My name is Celaena Sardothien," she whispered, "and I will not be afraid."

How do I sum up an amazing series in one review? because this series has been a part of my life for a year. It's bittersweet , I can't believe it's over and I'm sad that I'm done with this series. I also feel like I want more and need more closure. I am very grateful to my buddy reading partner to be able to help me through this series. I don't know if I could have done it alone. @yulies_book_nook you were my rock through this series. I appreciate you so much

Wow!! What an amazing start to a new *to me* series. I cannot wait to see what else is to come. Celaena is such a powerful character and I love her strength and pride throughout the story.

This is not my first attempt at reading this series. The third book was a strong departure from the first two and I found it difficult to stay engaged. It was until the end of the third book or perhaps the fourth book that I finally got deeply invested.

I strongly recommend a tandem read of books five and six! Google a guide—there are plenty out there.

I truly feel like I went on such a journey reading these books. I think maybe they didn’t have to be as long as they are, but it was also a marvellous escape. I would read spin offs.
